A Bit About Me
I graduated in 2011 from Point Grey Mini School in Vancouver, and am currently working towards a double major in economics and philosophy at McGill University. I was born and raised in Vancouver, where I was heavily involved in the theatre and dance scene. I continue to involve myself in these activities at McGill, although I have taken to some new hobbies: baking and crafting. I have become an avid baker, which has worked out nicely with all of my involvement on campus at McGill- so many bake sales! On campus, I am primarily involved in the Arts Undergraduate Theatre Society as a performer, on the Economics Students Association as the VP Academic, and on the SOS McGill executive as the VP Online Marketing.
A Few Interesting Things
Through my involvement in theatre and dance in Vancouver, I have had some pretty incredible experiences. Some of my favorites include performing before the Vancouver 2010 Olympic events, opening for David Usher, and performing onstage with Paul Anka. Aside from theatre, I have had the pleasure of working in a wide assortment of jobs, including spa reception and being a councillor at a children's camp. I chose to leave Vancouver to attend McGill because I wanted a change of pace; my mother is a professor at the University of British Columbia, and I practically live on the campus, so UBC was all too familiar.
Things I Love
Most of my favorite things I find on Pinterest. I am a huge fan of Martha Stewart, Restoration Hardware, and House and Home magazine, as they all provide inspirations for new recipes and crafts. I am also absolutely obsessed with my dog, Maddie. She is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and is the funniest, most freakishly human animal I've ever known. Here is an adorable video of her chasing an apricot as a puppy.
